Laoshan Mountain climbing expedition
The
Laoshan Mountain park is ideally located about 40 minutes
from our school. Visitors can climb up to the mountain
peak, refresh themselves in the rockpools and take part
in a lunch in an organic restaurant at the foot of the
national park. |

Polar Ocean World visit
Polar Ocean World, 10 minutes from Qingdao city centre, offers visitors a chance
to get up close and personal with a range of sea animals,
including penguins, polar bears, seas oxes, seals and
whales. A great half day out. |

Tsingtao Brewery Tour
Located
in Beer Street, Tsingtao Beer is the beer of choice throughout
China. Founded in 1903 by German settlers, it
now boasts 43 breweries around China. Visitors are guided through the museum
and over the factory floor. The tour finishes with the
chance to taste the fresh beer brew in Tsingtao Beer's
own bar. |

Tea
Plantation expedition
Visitors have the chance to pick their own
tea from the plantation, followed by a self-discovery
tour through the tea museum. The tour concludes with a
dinner based on tea itself. There is even a chance to
karaoke up a storm after dinner. |

Cherry-Picking
Season
In Spring, the cherries are ripe for the picking
and our tour lets you pick cherries to your hearts content
whilst bathing yourself in the sunshine of the Laoshan
valley. |

Qingdao Sightseeing Boat Tour
Visitors
can view Qingdao from its best perspective, looking back
at the city from offshore whilst relaxing onboard the
chartered boat. Your guide points out the scenery that
has made Qingdao the most desirable holiday destination
for Chinese, as well as the location for the 2008 Olympic
sailing events. |

Beach Barbeque
Come
enjoy a barbeque on Shilaoren Beach, know to the locals as Golden Beach ¨C the most famous of the beaches in Qingdao. Enjoy the IH mini-olympics competition,
including beach volleyball, tug-of-war, mini-triathlon
and piggy-back races. Barbeques are held regularly over
the summer months. |

Clam
Digging & Village Dinner
Visit Gangdong Village at the foothills of Laoshan Mountain and pick clams, the seafood of choice
for Qingdao natives. Known as 'gala', they are best
found on the beach at low tide. Then enjoy your freshly
-cooked clams whilst dining at a seaside farmer's house. |
